Totally 90's

Back in the day, in the totally 90's, I was in the midst of my adolescent/teenage years.  I remember thinking, "What is so great about the 90's, our clothes are weird and the music is all the same; why can't it be more like the 80's?"  Boy was I wrong !  As I sit here and take a time machine into my "so called life" as a teenager, I remember when alternative music was at its best and crop tops and baby tees were created.  Steve Madden shoes were the only thing we wore on our feet and we snuck out dancing in them until dawn at all the NYC nightclubs.  (How we got into them is another story, but I'll save that for my memoirs.)  We wore over the knee socks and baby backpacks to emanate Cher and Dionne, the adorably Clueless BFF's.  Ah yes, the 90's, a time when people actually communicated via the telephone, and we had beepers not cell phones.  It was definitely a better time.  There were modern flower children a la Drew Barrymore and grunge gals and guys that looked like Kate Moss.  Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were on repeat or rather on rewind on my boom box.  I fell somewhere in the mix of all these different genres of style, combining each of them in my own unique way of course.  But enough of my reminiscing.  This outfit is inspired by Steve Madden's "Totally 90's" contest, where they will choose winners that best style up a pair of their vintage 90's shoes like the ones I have on below.  What was your favorite part of the 1990's?  Let me know!

  1. Fashion in the 1990s was defined by a return to minimalist fashion, in contrast to the more elaborate and flashy trends of the 1980s. One notable shift was the mainstream adoption of tattoos, body piercings aside from ear piercing and, to a much lesser extent, other forms of body modification such as branding.

In the early 1990s, several late 1980s fashions remained very stylish among both sexes. However, the popularity of grunge and alternative rock music helped bring the simple, unkempt grunge look to the mainstream by 1994.[citation needed]

The anti-conformist approach to fashion led to the popularization of the casual chic look that included T-shirts, jeans, hoodies, and sneakers, a trend which continued into the 2000s. Additionally, fashion trends throughout the decade recycled styles from previous decades, notably the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

  2. Since 1911, the American Bankers Association has partnered with a series of registrars, currently Accuity, to manage the ABA routing number system.[2] Accuity is the Official Routing Number Registrar and is responsible for assigning ABA RTNs and managing the ABA RTN system. Accuity publishes the American Bankers Association Key to Routing Numbers semi-annually. The "Key Book" contains the listing of all ABA RTNs that have been assigned.

There are approximately 26,895 active ABA RTNs currently in use.[3] Every financial institution in the United States has at least one. The Routing Number Policy allows for up to five ABA RTNs to be assigned to a financial institution. Many institutions have more than five ABA RTNs as a result of mergers.

ABA RTNs are only for use in payment transactions within the United States. They are used on paper check, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. On a paper check, the ABA RTN is usually the middle set of nine numbers printed at the bottom of the check. Domestic transfers that use the ABA RTN will usually be returned to the paying bank.

Incoming international wire transfers also use a BIC code, also known as a SWIFT code, as they are administered by the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) and defined by ISO 9362. In addition, many international financial institutions use an IBAN code.

The IBAN was originally developed to facilitate payments within the European Union but the format is flexible enough to be applied globally. It consists of an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, followed by two check digits that are calculated using a mod-97 technique, and Basic Bank Account Number (BBAN) with up to thirty alphanumeric characters. The BBAN includes the domestic bank account number and potentially routing information. The national banking communities decide individually on a fixed length for all BBAN in their country.

  3. A personality test is a psychological test used to check or assess a person's personality. We know that there are different personality types, and each individual has a unique personality. The goal of the test is to determine the user's personality type so that they can know more about themself and be ready to achieve great things in life, like it may be related to their career, relationships, or many more little things. The most popular test to check personality type is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung proposed the MBTI test theory in the year 1921. In Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), we asked questions related to users' personalities, and It will describe themselves and their choices. After completing the test, the person is classified into different personality types based on their answers.

    Types of personalities
The most popular type of test is the four personality types. This test will measure four personality traits: introversion/extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism. Based on your score, you will be placed into one of 16 personality types.

We have multiple categories of personality as follows: Extraverted Sensing (ESTP), Introverted Sensing (ISTP), Extraverted Thinking (ENTP), Introverted Thinking (INTP), Extraverted Feeling (ENFP), and Introverted Feeling. (INFP), Thinking Intuitive (NT), Feeling Intuitive (NF), Judging Intuitive (NJ), Perceiving Intuitive (NP)

Our test will help you to understand yourself and others better, and it can be helpful in various situations. For example, if you know you are an introvert, you may like jobs that allow you to work independently. If you know that you are a suitable type, you might be better at working with teams.

  4. Prior to the implementation of NPI numbers, health plans and federal payers assigned identification numbers to healthcare providers and suppliers. The identification numbers were not standardized, resulting in a single provider using multiple identification numbers issued by the various health plans with which a provider was enrolled. This complicated the provider’s claim submission processes, often resulting in the same identification number being assigned to different healthcare providers by the different health plans.

The NPI Final Rule established a standard for a unique health identifier for healthcare providers to use in the healthcare system. The national standard simplifies the claims process and reduces the administrative burdens on healthcare providers.

Providers are required to use their NPI when transmitting any health information in electronic form in connection with a transaction. As stated in the NPI Final Rule, “the use of the NPI will improve the Medicare and Medicaid programs, and other federal health programs and private health programs, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the healthcare industry in general, by simplifying the administration of the healthcare system and enabling the efficient electric transmission of certain health information.”
