Alexander the Great McQueen

We were saddened and shocked as everyone else in the world was with the sudden and tragic death of Alexander McQueen. I remember the first time I laid eyes on his fashion masterpieces. I was working as an intern in the Allure Magazine fashion closet. I got goosebumps as I unboxed his peacock masterpiece, that was indeed a work of art. It was a dress constructed of tule and fabric that weighed about 50 pounds. AMAZING! It was as if I had unearthed a hidden treasure from the ground buried deep for centuries. I still get chills when I think about it. McQueens memory will live on through his ingenious works of art.
