Matthew Williamson and Herve Leger Spring 2009 RTW
The Little White Dress is the new Little Black Dress!! Save black for winter gals..White is a chic way to show off a summer glow!! For a night out try pairing a super short dress with white cyclist shorts a la Betsey Johnson Spring 2009 RTW (see below). If your going for the every day casual yet tre chic look we are obsesssssed with Matthew Williamson's white on white shorts jumper w a biker esque zippered front (top left)..but don't jump on your Harley's yet without a brightly colored pair of platforms or even flats...pinks or reds make the white pop on your skin..and accessorize with colorful bangles. Herve Leger and his to die for skin tight dresses are the way to go if you have a wedding or formal event to attend. We love the asymmetrical trend as seen on his 09' Spring Runway. A simple nude heel looks great with a short dress and lengthens your legs!! Pair it with simple gold earrings, a small geometric shaped clutch and one or two cocktail rings. Most importantly don't forget to accompany your "LWD" with a glass of champagne!! Cheers! :)
